GCSE, AS and A level exams will be held between 7th May and 17th June 2026. You must be available for the whole of the exam period. Exam board timetables for the 2025 summer exam series of GCSEs, AS and A levels are available on the Joint Council for Qualifications website.
The exam timetable contains 1 contingency session all day on 24th June 2026. You must be available at this time. This session would be used in the unlikely event that an exam had to be moved nationally because it could not take place when planned. This session cannot be used to reschedule an exam that you have missed.
GCSE
Students achieve extremely well at GCSE and their progress is outstanding.
In 2024 our students achieved outstanding results:
23% of all were a grade 9
47% of all grades at 8-9
72% of all grades were 7-9

A Level
Students achieve outstanding results at A Level, placing DGGS as one of the leading A Level providers in Kent. Students consistently achieve very highly.
In 2024 our Sixth Form students achieved excellent results:
12% of all grades were an A*
41% of all grades were at A*/A
73% of grades were at A*-B
Each year students take up places at many prestigious universities, including Oxbridge and the Russell Group, with an impressive number being accepted onto the most competitive courses such as Medicine, Dentistry, Veterinary Science, Engineering and Law.
