Pupil Premium Priority

Admissions Over-subscription Criteria Priority 2

A girl who is deemed selective in the Kent 11+ tests and is in receipt of Pupil Premium at the time of entry to the school will be ranked within Priority 2 of our-oversubscription criteria.

A child is eligible for Pupil Premium where she has been registered for free school meals (FSM) at any point in the last 6 years, including Targeted FSM. This does not include children who have only been eligible to receive Expanded FSM or Universal Infant Free School Meals. Pupil Premium is also afforded to Children in Local Authority Care or Previously in Local Authority Care, however these children will be ranked within Priority 1.

Please note recent Government changes to FSM eligibility, which include 2 categories of FSM:
• Targeted FSM – which continues to be based on the existing £7,400 income threshold: and
• Expanded FSM - which will apply to meals only, covering pupils who do not qualify for Targeted FSM, but who are in households in receipt of Universal Credit.

Pupil premium will only be available to those in the Targeted FSM cohort.

Pupils who are eligible for FSM under the Expanded FSM will not be eligible for Pupil Premium and will not be included in this category of our oversubscription criteria for admission purposes.

Parents/Carers wishing to apply under this criterion must attach proof of eligibility to their Supplementary Information Form and return it all to the school by the deadline indicated on the form.
