Wimbledon

On Monday 29th June, a group from the school tennis teams (including me) were lucky enough to go to the first day of the All England’s Lawn Tennis Wimbledon Championships.

We were in Court 2, and watched some amazing players such as Cameron Norrie, a British tennis player (World No.29 Men’s Singles). We got a chance to get signatures of winning tennis players and we watched famous players such as Jannik Sinner (World No.1 Men’s Singles) and Aryana Sabalenka (World No.1 Women’s Singles) from the big screens outside Centre Court, on Henman Hill.

We even got to eat the must-have strawberries and cream that is a Wimbledon tradition. It was an amazing day out and I would love to go again.
