Swimming Gala Years 9-11
Our Years 9-11 students recently took part in an exciting Swimming Gala against Mayfield Grammar School on the 24th March, showcasing fantastic determination, teamwork, and school spirit throughout the event.
The competition was strong, with many impressive performances and some very close races. All swimmers represented the school with pride and gave their best in every event.
A special thank you goes to our Year 7 and 8 students who stepped up to compete and support the team (Keira 7P, Danni 8K and Luma 8L). Your willingness to get involved and rise to the occasion was truly commendable and made a big difference on the day. I would also like to point out that many Year 9 and 10 students stepped up and took on more races than first intended and the Year 10s took on the Year 10/11 races on their own. We are truly proud of you all.
Results:
Although we did not finish the Gala successful, it was very close and we are very proud of everyone who took part and cannot thank you all enough for your efforts. You all stepped up and represented the school with pride.
