Spring Concert 2026

The spring concert was a huge success featuring students from Years 7 to 13. It opened with two orchestral medleys from the opera 'Carmen' followed by 'the sound of music'. The gospel choir brought beautiful harmonies with 'Spirit' and energy with 'Shackles'. We had music by Radiohead and Nirvana from DGGS Band and Guitar Ensemble. Beautiful and polished performances from string ensemble and flute ensemble. A Mozart performance on French horn by Elza in Year 10 and an A Level composition premiere on violin by Sophie in Year 13. The concert came to the close with three moving performances by DGGS choir, singing in three-part harmony. We felt very proud to see how the students' hard work and dedication has paid off. The standard of performance was exceptionally high throughout and received really positive feedback. We would like all the students that took part, particularly our student leaders Abigail, Tiffany and Sophie in Year 13. We would also like to thank all the support staff and peripatetic staff, Mr Bettley and Mrs Suri, who help make these events possible.
