Curriculum Enhancement Day Messages
Our Curriculum Enhancement Day, held on 30th March, was a great success. Students across all year groups took part in a range of engaging and enriching activities designed to support their personal development beyond the classroom. From developing critical thinking and communication skills to gaining practical life skills and participating in collaborative experiences, students approached the day with enthusiasm and maturity. External guests commented positively on the students, describing them as engaged, respectful, and a credit to the school. Staff were similarly impressed with the high levels of participation and positive behaviour throughout, making the day both enjoyable and impactful for all involved.
Feedback:
On CE day we did a variety of activities related to skills and information we need for the future. My group did the workshop with 'Talk the Talk' and I found it very interesting and useful because they taught us things about speaking that I didn't know I needed to include or get rid of, I also enjoyed talking about different topics with my peers. After that we learnt about money management and different taxes which I found useful as I have a better idea of what I should consider when using money in the future.

CE day was very fun. I took part in a communication workshop, which was interesting and helped me feel more confident speaking and sharing my ideas. It helped me find my voice and express myself better. I also learned about budgeting and payslips. This will help me understand how money works, how much I earn, and how to manage it properly in the future. I found everything useful and easy to understand. Overall, it was a great day and I learned important skills that I can use in real life.

I really enjoyed the CE day as it taught me a lot about first aid which I did not previously know. I really enjoyed working with the first aiders and with my group throughout the day, and I liked that it was productive but that I also had a good time.
