Dartford Grammar School for Girls

Welcome to the Sixth Form

"A large majority of pupils stay on into Years 12 and 13 and achieve extremely well at A level.  Others join the sixth form from elsewhere and achieve equally well."

It gives me great pleasure to highlight the opportunities Dartford Grammar School for Girls’ Sixth Form can offer you. I am extremely proud of our Sixth Form, its outstanding academic record, vibrant ethos, caring approach and dedicated students. All this combined, make it a great place to work, learn and succeed.

Alongside a curriculum of challenge and rigour, you will have the opportunity to work with other students and teachers on a variety of projects developing leadership skills, join a range of societies and take time out with friends in our purpose built Sixth Form cafe area.

The achievements of our past and current students are simply excellent here; we are extremely proud of the accomplishments of all. At the end of Sixth Form, most of our students go on to university to study a range of degree courses, including medicine, at institutions including Oxbridge and the highly respected Russell Group universities. Some students successfully gain places on prestigious and competitive apprenticeships courses and degree apprenticeships.

Our Sixth Form is a remarkable environment in which to nurture and develop your potential and skills for your future aspirations. We look forward to meeting you.
