Introduction to our Alumni Association
Dartford Grammar School for Girls’ Alumni Association enables the school to keep in contact with ex-students and for ex-students to maintain links with the school. Through the Association, we would like to provide opportunities for ex-students to offer careers advice, share experiences, and obtain information on scheduled events and activities. We would like to encourage alumni to donate both of their time and financially to school projects, if possible, to support current students and those who will join DGGS in the years to come.

Careers Advice
Our students are interested in a wide variety of different careers, from Medicine, Accountancy, Law and Engineering to Computer Science, International Relations, Fashion Design and Architecture. We are always delighted to encourage ex-students to talk to our current students about their careers and give them advice and guidance on routes into that field.
Contributing Your Time
If you have time to spare and would like to volunteer in an area of interest, either as a one-off, or more regularly, we are keen to hear from you. Our students are always eager to interact with adults and access support from others.
Financial Contributions
Budgets are tighter than ever in education, but we wish to continue to offer our students the best possible education. If you are able to contribute to particular areas of the school, we are always grateful. Areas you may wish to consider:
- Donations of suitable books in good condition for our School Library.
- Financial contributions towards new Science labs., refurbishment of the Art rooms, flood lights for the tennis courts.
- Purchasing, or contributing towards, items such as musical instruments and sports equipment.
