Year 10 Geography Field Trip to Epping Forest

As part of the Year 10 GCSE Geography course, students travelled to the Field Studies Centre in Epping Forest. 118 students visited the local river and were taught how to collect data on the width, depth and velocity of the river. They worked in small groups, with all students getting into the river. Inevitably, as every year, a couple of students did get wet! The visit was centred around collecting data for their Paper 3 Exam in Year 11. It was an excellent chance for students to see Geography in action and they enjoyed working with their friends throughout the day. The sun even shone for the occasion!
