Canterbury Festival Schools’ Poetry Competition 2023
We are very proud to announce that two of our students have been shortlisted for the Canterbury Festival Schools’ Poetry competition.
Congratulations to Shanaya 10H and Ayla 13F who have both been invited to a Poetry Workshop for shortlisted young poets with legendary poet John Hegley at the Gulbenkian Arts Centre, University of Kent, and to the Competition Showcase and Prize Giving where they will be reading their poems.
Another three of our students will also be recognised as ‘special mention’ for their entries to the competition in the anthology: Natalie 8L, Shanice 10I and Lidia 10I.
